I write a bit of everything, I try to get some of it published. Most times, I get rejected. I submit again (to other places). Eventually, I get published. In the meantime, I complain about the hazards of real life. It's a process, really.

Trapped in a Wormhole
Laura Eno, Luanne Smith, and Stephen Tremp put together this here National Wormhole Day blog hop posing the question, What would you do/where would you go if you could go through a wormhole, just once? (Answer in 100 words or less)
First off, I'd make sure Baxter could come. He doesn't like getting left behind. Secondly, we'd go adventuring off to the past. Probably high school. We'd sit back, and he'd get to meet some of my friends who passed away, and I'd get some refreshers for the gaps in my memory for my memoir.
What about you guys? Would you try to sneak anyone into the wormhole with you?

:) I'm sure Baxter would have a great time!ReplyDelete
I think he would, too. Until he sees a cat or dog and takes off on me (I feel like in the chaos of a wormhole, I'd forget the leash)Delete
A lot Oxford people would take their pets. just like in Back To The Future. Thanks for participating!ReplyDelete
Thanks for hosting an awesome blog hop!Delete
Oh, a wormhole would be most helpful if one were writing a memoir. To go back and observe your own life? It would be strange but cool. :))ReplyDelete
I think it'd be really sad. It'd be nice to witness it again, though.Delete
I'd take my husband, because I'd change the past (prevent my mother's murder) and probably never meet/marry him in the new future.ReplyDelete
Take me, too! I'll help!Delete
I actually had fun in High School so I wouldn't mind revisiting it!ReplyDelete
Oh, that would be the sweetest trip ever!ReplyDelete
Evalina, This and that...
It'd be pretty bittersweet. It'd be nice to see my friends, hug them, tell them I love them, but I'd have to lose them over again... :(Delete
It would definitely be interesting to visit our own pasts to compare events as we selectively perceive them versus seeing their reality unfold again in real time.ReplyDelete
Yes, it's amazing how our brains alter what actually happened.Delete
Oh, I hadn't even considered sneaking someone in. I'm sure Baxter would have a blast!ReplyDelete
I think he would, too. Mainly because then there would be two of me, and he would be all, "PET ME!!"Delete
Bringing a furry companion is a great idea and it would be so helpful to have a wormhole to do a memoir! Great use of a wormhole!ReplyDelete
I don't know who Baxter is...since I just met you but I will say this...high school is the ONE place I don't want to go back to...(yes, I said fourteen, but I started school in Sweden where they start a year later so at 14 I was in ninth grade, at a junior high).ReplyDelete
Ok, I see furry. Dog? I'm not a cat person. Probably because I'm so highly allergic.
Oh, and one more thing. As I age (47 currently) my memory is disintigrating...sucks big time.

Baxter is a dog. I'm a pet person, I try not to discriminate, but I'm pretty partial to dogs right now :)Delete
